An employee at Carroll Electric, Al Dittmar, has achieved certification by the North American Board of Certified Energy Professionals or NABCEP. This prestigious organization has high standards and is very strict on education, training, hands on experience and testing standards. In September, he passed the rigorous exam which is given only twice a year.

The NABCEP certification is being used by most states as the standard of expertise.  NABCEP requires this certification for consumers to be able to receive grants and funding for the installation of solar electric systems. Wisconsin, being one of the states to utilize NABCEP,  currently has a small number of electric contractors with a NABCEP certification. This strict protocol of the certification requirements is designed to provide consumers with confidence in the installations and the contractor’s ability.
